This is truly an amazing form of art, the accuracy and skill required to create these stunning mosaic tiles is astounding.

The artisans make it look so easy, as all masters of their chosen field do.  I have a new appreciation for a craft passed down through the generations, I am thankful that these traditions have survived.

A very tedious, time consuming process, completely handmade from making a plain tile from clay, to glazing and firing in a traditional kiln.  The artist gently chips away to create small shapes, until finally enough shapes have been crafted, they are then laid in the chosen pattern to create a simply stunning tile.

The final reveal at the end of the video is worth the wait!
