When mixing paint colours, it’s important to write down a little note/code about the mixture next to the sample colour in your visual arts diary.
By doing this, you now have a reference point to create additional paint required if you happen to fall short. You may simply want to recreate this new colour to reuse in another painting, there’s nothing worse when you can’t quite get it right.
I’ve made a simple code by using the first letter in the primary colour along with a number just above the letter (if above one) to identify the ratio of each colour.
